On Friday, March 14, former Roane County High School standout Nathan McNelley’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Catawba Indians.

The game took place at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Indians this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field against Catawba Indians.
