On Friday, Feb. 14, former Maryville High School standout Tanner Shiver’s current college team, the Louisville Cardinals, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Longhorns.

The game took place at Globe Life Field. This was their first matchup against the Longhorns this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. at Globe Life Field against Oklahoma State Cowboys.
