On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Maryville High School standout Cade Batchelor’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kentucky Wildcats.

The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their third matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at Ken Dugan Field against Lipscomb Bisons.
