On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Roane County High School standout Nathan McNelley’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.

The game took place at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field. This was their second matchup against the Railsplitters this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. at Burchell Stallard Baseball Field against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.
