55 percent of applicants to Maryville College were admitted for fall 2018

At Maryville College, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Maryville enrolled 1,146 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 5.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

76 percent of undergraduates are residents of Tennessee, and 23 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (76 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).

The school admitted 55 percent of the 2,346 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
