Established in 2013, National Lineman Appreciation Day is a day to honor those who put their lives on the line to keep the lights on!
Linemen work with thousands of volts of electricity, high atop power lines for 24 hours a day to keep electricity flowing to people’s homes and businesses. The work of a lineman can sometimes go unnoticed in the community and the workers do not receive recognition for what they do.
