It is always my honor to recognize our Blount County Veterans, and over the last few days, celebrate both future veterans and current veterans.
Two graduating seniors from the Heritage High School’s Air Force JROTC program signed to join the United States Military. Congratulations to Asher Taylor who signed with the US Air Force and and to Brandon Fletcher signed with the US Army. Congratulations to Amvets Post 22 on the grand opening of your new location at Midland Plaza this past Saturday!
We are thankful for the service and sacrifice made by current veterans, involved in AMVETS Post 22, and future veterans, like Asher and Brandon. Please join us in thanking all of our local veterans and active military service members every day!
They are the reason we have the freedom to get out and vote today!
