The Sheriff's Office is offering a free 12 hour driving class for teens that will focus on distracted driving, drunk driving, defensive driving, and driver awareness. The class is scheduled for Friday, July 22 from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, July 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Class size is limited to 20 participants, and availability is on a first come, first serve basis. The class will take place at the Sheriff's Office Training facility on William Blount Drive. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. ALL THREE FORMS must be completed and sent in no later than July 6, 2022.
All applicants MUST have a minimum of their learner's permit or graduated driver's license to participate in the class.
