A whopping 84% of the Blount Chamber’s total membership revenue comes from businesses with fewer than 100 employees. The businesses in our community, both large and small, are the backbone of our county, and the Chamber invests the majority of its energy into supporting and promoting small businesses. The Chamber hosts the TN Small Business Development Center weekly and collaborates with The Sky City Entrepreneur Center—an initiative dedicated to helping small business owners succeed and new businesses launch in Blount County. Additionally, it offers a plethora of small business benefits and programming like Small Business Saturday, connection opportunities, governmental briefings, and professional development workshops. The Chamber is big on small.
