Wishing you a blessed holiday season! | Blount County Sheriff's Office
Over the past week, our deputies have been on the receiving end of blessings from the community, and we've also been able to bless others. Last Friday, deputies with Court Services delivered some much appreciated items to the residents of Shannondale Assisted Living in Maryville. BCSO deputies donated socks, crossword puzzle books, snacks, toiletries, and other sundries that the residents don't normally receive. This is an annual tradition, and we enjoy the visit when we deliver the items.
We also enjoyed receiving hundreds of packets of Hot Hands over the last few days! Blount County's 4-H students spearheaded an effort to collect Hot Hands at Blount County's middle and elementary schools. Amy Berger, TSU Extension Agent with the U.T. Institute of Agriculture, delivered several packets of Hot Hands today, and we also received some last week. With the Arctic air looming at week's end, those Hot Hands will be appreciated by our deputies!
Throughout the year, the outpouring of support we receive from our residents never ceases. From Sheriff James Lee Berrong, we are most appreciative! Wishing you a blessed holiday season!
