TVA is conducting rolling power outages across our area that will last up to 30 minutes at a time due to high demand for power. TVA provides power to more than 150 utilities in our area, including Alcoa Utilities, Maryville Utilities, Fort Loudon Electrical Cooperative, and Lenoir City Utilities. It looks like we are dealing with below freezing temperatures for daytime highs through Sunday with moderating temperatures beginning Monday.
Blount County Sheriff’s deputies are patrolling as normal. Stay warm, and most importantly, stay safe!
