Maryville's Abby Diggs and Katelyn Cook played key roles last week in the Scots winning three of their four matches, including the Collegiate Conference of the South opener against Belhaven.

Diggs for her efforts earned CCS Player of the Week honors, with Cook selected as CCS Rooke of the Week. These are the team's first weekly awards of the season.

The sophomore Diggs went 3-1 at No. 2 singles and teamed with Eliza Cheshire to go a perfect 4-0 at No. 2 doubles. The Scots won two of three matches on a Spring Break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina, and then they knocked off Belhaven 7-2 to begin CCS play.

Cook went 3-1 at No. 1 singles and also won one match out of four at No. 1 doubles. She won all three of her singles matches during Maryville's Spring Break trip.
