80.5% of Loudon County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 54,349 citizens living in Loudon County in 2021, 80.5% were old enough to vote, equating to 43,737 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 21,236 were male, constituting 48.6%, and 22,501 were female, making up 51.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Loudon County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.6%.
