3.3% of Loudon County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Loudon County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 829 people out of the 54,349 living in Loudon County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Loudon County has decreased compared to the 3.6% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Loudon County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 24,283 people who had a job during that time, 59 were employed in the Armed Forces and 24,224 belonged to the civilian labor force.
