On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Maryville High School standout Cade Batchelor’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, lost 11-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia State Panthers.

The game took place at GSU Baseball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. at Howell Bush Stadium at Averitt Express Baseball Complex against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
